One of the UK’s leading suppliers of two-way radios, Apex Radio Systems Ltd, is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join their team as a customer service apprentice in their Gateshead office. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Overall Objectives:
- To support the company’s growth and profitability goals by providing effective customer service to clients and suppliers.
- To assist other areas of the business with processing orders, despatching goods and producing customer documentation.
- To support the company’s service department by preparing radio equipment, including coding in line with specific order requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress and grow within the company for the right candidate who is keen to learn new skills. The main purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of excellent service and products to customers.

About Apex Radio Systems Ltd
Apex is looking for an apprentice to work in their Gateshead based Service team - and with their Engineering, Marketing & Sales departments in Cardiff & Teesside.
The successful candidate will be:
- A good verbal and written communicator.
- Computer literate and confident using the telephone.
- Well organised.
- Enthusiastic to learn.
- Polite and professional whilst being adaptable to their wide client base.
- A team player who can work effectively with colleagues in the local service team and remotely in other branches.
- Able to take initiative and be actively involved.
- Flexible to different tasks as and when required.
- Reliable and punctual, with strong attendance and work ethic.
- Extremely organised and capable of planning their own workload and assisting with colleagues' work planning.

- Working week
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Total hours per week: 37.50- Apprenticeship level
