Purpose of role- Ensuring all line safety start up sheets are completed and raise any issues with Engineering.
- Agree the schedule for production/packing plan by line.
- Oversee the production/packing process.
- Supervise and motivate the Line Leaders and Operatives.
- Liaise with other departments; Planning, Low Risk, High Risk and Sleeve & Box to ensure optimum efficiency of process flow
- Ensure the relevant quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Liaise with QA Auditors to eliminate any quality issues.
- Ensure that the packing/production plans are met on time in full.
- To constantly monitor and optimise efficiencies.
- To continuously monitor waste and implement action plans to reduce total wastage on the shift.
- To undertake any other duties that could reasonably be expected within the remit of the post.
- To ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to in order to ensure a zero accident culture is developed on shift.
- To continuously monitor housekeeping in all areas.
- To be responsible for GMP in your area and train to maintain a good standard through the GMP process.
- Ensure Hygiene (tray wash area) staff are supervised.
- The ability to lead and motivate a team and be able to work on your own initiative.
- Good organisational and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to think logically to solve problems and work collaboratively with the wider team.
