Yardperson / Labourer

To transport equipment and supplies throughout the plant and yard in a safe, timely and efficient manner

• Keep the yard clean and tidy
• Handle and move material and equipment as required
• Loading / unloading all delivery and collection vehicles
• Checking delivery quantities and descriptions are accurate to the supplier delivery notes
• Making sure that all materials are put in correct locations for storage
• Deliver all production materials to bays required for production
• Operate forklifts in a safe manner
• Conduct general yard cleanliness and litter management
• Making sure vehicles are locked up at the end of the working day
• Maintain site security by ensuring gates remain closed
• Maintain vehicle daily maintenance checks
• Assist with stock takes
• Other duties as required.

• Hold a current FLT Counterbalance license
• Physically fit
• Happy to perform manual labour tasks if required
• Positive attitude
• Team player
• Must be able to work on own initiative.
