Applications are invited for Consultants in Emergency Medicine to join our friendly, dynamic and expanding Emergency Department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will join a team of 24 other Emergency Medicine Consultants.
We are looking for experienced, motivated individuals who have worked at a senior level to provide leadership within our busy department.
The department has ambitious plans for improvement. Therefore as well as providing clinical expertise to enable the best possible care, it is important that you can lead service development and provide quality professional advice, contributing to all the areas that produce an outstanding working environment and patient experience.

- If you are currently a Specialty Registrar, we would require one of your referees to be your Training Programme Director.
Main duties of the job
To provide Emergency Medicine services in Bradford. The post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive clinical service together with Consultant colleagues.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The Consultant has a continuing responsibility for the care of patients in their charge. The Consultant will be responsible in conjunction with colleagues for planning future developments of these services.

Essential criteria- Evidence of completing a period of approved training in Emergency/General Medicine
Qualifications
Essential criteria- MBChB or equivalent. Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) or equivalent. CCT or within 6 months of AAC date. On Specialist Register with GMC and continue to hold a licence to practise.
