Job overview
The post is that of a Staff Nurse and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties within Care of the Elderly patients on Ward 18 Princess of Wales Hospital. The Ward has temporarily moved to Ward 2 Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
Ward 2 which is a 22 bedded care of the elderly ward caring for acute frailty and clinically optimised patients.
The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Practice.

We provide all new staff with an induction period, a ‘buddy’ nurse and the opportunity to join our Clinical Supervision programme.
