Workshop Technician/ Trailer Fitter - Day & Night shift - Newmarket
Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport Company. We are looking to recruit Workshop Technicians/ Trailer Fitters, to be based at our Newmarket Workshop.
Shift Patterns:- Working alternative shift patterns 06:00 – 14:00 (Week 1) and 14:00 – 22:00 (Week 2). You will be required to work weekend overtime when rostered either Saturday or Sunday morning.
- Nightshift 22:00 – 06:00
As a Turners' employee, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent communication skills.
As a large and ever expanding company, Turners can take on candidates with limited experience in vehicle repairs, all we ask is you are willing and keen to learn.
Responsibilities will include the repair and maintenance our fleet of vehicles and trailers. You would be working on a variety of trailer and vehicle types to include, Tank, Refrigerated and curtainside.
Previous mechanical experience would be preferred and an LGV 1 licence is preferred but not essential. The appropriate training and personal protective equipment will be supplied.
