Salary: Support Staff Scale Point 20FTE £22,070 (£12,645 actual)Candidates must:Have GCSE C grade or equivalent in English and MathsUnderstand there will be a need to provide Personal Care which could include feeding and toileting as required to support Students with specific identified needs.
The College provides specialist education and support for 200+ young people aged 16-25 with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities.
In addition we support students within our mainstream provision that have additional learning needs such as ASC, and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Full training will be provided.We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team within the School of Sixth Form Studies (SSFS).
The successful candidate will be offered full training for the role and be provided with the opportunity for career development as the candidate grows into their role.The College provides specialist education and support for 200+ young people aged 16-25 with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities.

Working with students you will form a key part of the range of services to support their education, emotional well-being and preparation for adulthood.
Ideally, you should: Be well motivated, passionate and well organised
Have significant knowledge of Safeguarding and PreventHave prior experience of supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH
