Business Development Director

Business Development Director- Hybrid - London or Oxford 3 days per week
- Full time, Permanent
- Up to £90,000+ depending on experience

As a Business Development Director, you will be part of the commercial team managing a team of Business Development Managers and Associates. The aim of our team is to source and evaluate new opportunities, negotiating value for money contracts and being part of the creation of long-term revenue streams enabling our businesses to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all aspects of transactions which means new third party management business
- Negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure they protect our business and our clients with the support of internal and external counsel
- Acting as a senior liaison between clients, agents, and other parties involved in transactions
- Ensuring we have good process and procedure in place to maintain our data and intelligence to inform our business decisions moving forwards
- Managing deadlines and ensuring all necessary materials are submitted on time to match client demands including liaising with other commercial directors across this cross-functional team
- Addressing and resolving any issues or complications that arise during transactions including finding innovative solutions to problems in order to secure the right deals and terms for our businesses
- Maintaining key relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and opportunity for repeat business
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices including representing our businesses as a thought leader or sector expert
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Transaction Director or Business Development Director or similar
- Deep knowledge of operational real estate
- Experience in client or investor management
- Deep understanding of transaction management and operating budget creation
- Strong Leadership and communication skills both oral and written and numerical
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with medium to high excel ability
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Essential to have experience and network within the student “PBSA” space
