An opportunity has arisen to join the Central and West Network as a Band 8a Service Manager for a period of 3 months. Central and West is a supportive, experienced vibrant network, which promotes the Trust values in all that we do and is committed to excellent service user care and compassionate leadership.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Central & West Network to provide operational leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader with operational experience, who is looking to further develop and gain additional leadership experience within the organisation.

You will gain knowledge and skills in the operational management of a clinical service that delivers both community mental health services and mental health inpatient care to adults and older adults. You will be working closely with the wider leadership team to deliver high quality mental health services to the population of Central and West Lancashire.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 although some flexibility in regard to start and finish times may be required.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
