The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide one-to-one and group support for students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in their learning, both in the classroom and in small intervention groups.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Encouraging students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
  • Providing personal care and assistance as required.
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable.
