Senior Consultant, Application Support – Prism / JD Edwards, UK
This is a multi-disciplinary role focused primarily on supporting a legacy PRISM ERP system on IBM iSeries (AS/400), with flexibility to assist in other areas such as JD Edwards technical support/administration and Service Delivery Lead (SDL) responsibilities.
The ideal candidate brings strong iSeries (IBM i) application experience, has supported legacy ERP systems in a production environment, and is comfortable operating in multi-client managed service environment. Familiarity with JD Edwards (or the willingness to cross-train) is important, as is the ability to communicate directly with clients, coordinate across teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of service operations.
This is a permanent role, open to candidates across the UK Region, with standard UK business hours (9:00 AM to 17:30 PM GMT). Participation in an on-call rota may be required.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day application and operational support for the PRISM ERP system running on IBM iSeries (AS/400).
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Assist with JD Edwards CNC/admin activities (user provisioning, package deployments, job queue monitoring, etc.).
- Support patching, upgrade planning, and DR validation activities across legacy and current ERP systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline operational tasks.
