A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in the Neuro-immunology Specialist Nursing service for an experienced clinical nurse to support the provision of services.

This will be a permanent part time i.e. 2 days a week working with our with our current Band 7 Neuro-immunology Specialist Nurse. The Cambridge University Hospital Neuro-Immunology service consists of a regional and local, holistic neuro-immunology nursing service and an inpatient consultation service for people with neuro-immunological conditions including CIDP Myaesthenia Gravis.

As part of the nursing team, you will to support with clinical interventions and deputise for the Band 7 ensuring high quality care.

It is a development opportunity for anyone wishing to acquire specialist nursing skills, be involved in the review of the services and contributing to implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care.

The post holder is responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused care working as part of the Neuroimmunology team.

Responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing care programmes with neuroimmunological conditions including CIDP and myasthenia gravis.

Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings
