Business Development Assistant Internship

Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for students who require an industry Work Placement as part of their degree to intern for a couture brand. Suzie Turner Couture specialises in making unique, couture pieces with the finest fabrics and intricate attention to detail for an international clientele.
The role will include working very closely with the company’s COO as well as the Creative Director, assisting with the daily management of a couture business. This is a key administrative role and a great opportunity to gain skills and knowledge in communication and presentation within ultra high-end luxury, whilst gaining invaluable insight into how a small couture fashion company is run.
General Requirements
All internships are Monday to Friday. The required duration for this internship is for a minimum of six months. We do not offer this internship for any less time than six months. The usual working hours are 9 am - 6 pm. We are looking for people to start now and in the future.We do not facilitate remote or part-time work. This internship is only available to those in full-time education at college or university, where a placement is a required element of their course.
Skills / Experience:- Confident Student level user of Word and Excel, Adobe Suite skills are a big plus

- Assisting in creative company documents like lookbooks and client proposals
- Assisting with ordering materials, as well as monitoring and handling stock quantities.
- Scheduling and planning meetings and appointments-assisting in meetings if necessary
- Maintaining and updating the company’s contacts list
- Assisting in building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, consumers and colleagues
- Assisting in daily administrative office duties: managing the calendar, organising emails, filing invoices and receipts.
- Setting up displays for clients as well as attending client meetings if necessary
- Assisting on photoshoots when required
- Assisting and attending business dinners and events, when required
- Assisting with graphic design, such as designing logos for clients or editing images.
- How a small couture business is run
- An understanding of specific brand tone and aesthetic and how to translate this through all communication channels, including correspondence, web pages, social media, imagery and presentations.
- How to work together in a close team
- How to curate a couture display and bespoke client proposals.
