We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. Part-time or full-time applicants will be considered, working a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.

What will your day look like?
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our finance team, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your day will be varied and busy, from chatting with customers and answering emails to keeping our finance system up to date with purchases and payments.
You’ll also help support our subcontractors by preparing their Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) certificates and processing time sheets so everyone gets paid correctly.
Additionally, you will:
- Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate differences
- Reconcile petty cash and enter transactions into SAGE
- Post and reconcile credit card spending
- Carry out supplier statement checks and help fix any invoice issues
- Someone either at the start of their accountancy journey, training for AAT or similar
- Someone with experience of Sage 50 accounts (preferable but not essential)
- Someone able to work in a busy environment and to deadlines
- A highly motivated individual, who is able to use their initiative
- Someone who possesses excellent organisational & interpersonal skills
