We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with families facing various challenges, including behavioral issues, mental health concerns, and socio-economic difficulties.
Your primary responsibility will be to empower families by providing them with the tools and resources they need to improve their circumstances and foster a positive home environment. You will act as a bridge between families and community resources, offering guidance, support, and practical solutions tailored to each family's unique situation.

Responsibilities
Provide direct support to families in need, including assessment and intervention services.
Develop and implement individualized family support plans tailored to the unique needs of each family.
Facilitate access to community resources, including housing, healthcare, and educational services.
Conduct home visits and family assessments to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.
Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers, therapists, and educators, to create a cohesive support network for families.
Empower families through skills training, workshops, and resources designed to enhance parenting strategies and improve family dynamics.

Document interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies, ensuring comprehensive record-keeping.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
Experience working with families in crisis or with children and youth in a social service context.
Strong understanding of family dynamics and community resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and circumstances of families.

Hours Per Week: Start Time: 08:30

End Time: 16:45
Pay Per Hour: £13.00

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
