Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with Team Teach training? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to work within schools and SEN settings across Bradford and the surrounding areas. The students you’ll support may have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or other additional challenges that result in complex behaviour. They benefit greatly from the support of consistent, patient adults who provide structure, encouragement, and a positive influence.Your role will involve establishing trust, fostering self-confidence, and assisting students in overcoming learning barriers.
With your Team Teach training, you will be instrumental in managing and safely de-escalating challenging situations, helping to maintain a calm and supportive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and other school staff, contributing to classroom activities and providing tailored support to keep pupils engaged.Your ability to connect with young people and provide stability will be key in shaping their educational experience.
This role provides flexibility, allowing you to work around your schedule while gaining experience in different educational settings. Many of our positions lead to longer-term placements, making this a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their careers in education.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Team Teach qualification (essential).
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour (preferred).
- A proactive, patient, and resilient approach.
- While having your own transport is helpful, it is not required.
