We are looking for an innovative and strategic Director of Student Life to join our

vibrant Student Support and Success team. The Student Support and Success

directorate plays a pivotal role in shaping student experience, driving engagement, and empowering students to achieve their full potential. As the Director of Student Life, you will lead transformative initiatives that foster student success and enhance the university experience.

You will provide visionary leadership across key areas of

student life, ensuring that our services are adaptive and tailored to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic and diverse student body. This role will develop innovative and effective pre-entry support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as preventative and proactive interventions to support at-risk students, ensuring all learners are empowered to thrive and succeed.

In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will play an integral part of shaping the
future of student success at the University, directly contributing to improved
outcomes and a vibrant academic community. You will work closely with senior
leadership and play an active role in influencing decision-making around student life

matters. This role uniquely leads the relationship management with the Roehampton Student’s Union.

The postholder must have significant experience leading teams and developing
strategic approaches to improving academic outcomes and enhancing student

experience in higher education.
