Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker (Band 2/3) to join Mersey Care NHS Trust. The role involves supporting individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence, and assisting the healthcare team in delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities and provide emotional support.
- Work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to senior staff.
- Encourage social inclusion and promote positive mental health strategies.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Previous health and social care experience or equivalent
- Previous experience in Primary Care
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work well in a team
- Right to work in the UK and relevant DBS clearance
