More detail about the role We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with good interpersonal skills and a high degree of self-motivation to join our friendly team, supporting patients with rheumatological conditions.

Applicants will require sound moving and handling skills, good problem solving, prioritisation and excellent communication.
Key responsibilities include: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapeutic input into patients overall care plans. Providing comprehensive assessment and therapy sessions, including exercise and education groups, 1:1 patient and carer education, and the provision of bespoke and pre-fabricated splints or adaptive equipment.
Supporting patients and carers by providing clear explanations about diagnoses, treatment plans, and the impact on lifestyle. Using motivational and negotiation skills to encourage adherence to treatment goals and lifestyle adjustments. Managing your own caseload under supervision, identifying patient needs, and tailoring care plans in collaboration with the team.
Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to infection control policies. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to provide compassionate care, and previous experience in a healthcare support role.
