For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below. More detail about the role The Senior Medical Secretary will be based in the Trauma & Orthopaedics Department and will provide administrative support to the Consultants and team members.
The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of a team. The post holder will have delegated responsibility for supervision or day to day management of staff within the team. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by the line manager and may, on occasion, be required to deputise for the line manager Working Pattern: 30 hours per week.
Interview Date: To be confirmed Pay - The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later.
Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings.
