This is a Mott MacDonald Bentley role, employed by Mott MacDonald.Mott MacDonald Bentley is a joint venture business, established in 1999 between civil engineering contractor JN Bentley and global management consultancy, Mott MacDonald.Mott MacDonald Bentley offers fully integrated design and build services to its clients, combining the contracting expertise of JN Bentley and the design specialisms of Mott MacDonald.
This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?As a talented and driven Electrical Engineer within our diverse and inclusive Engineering team, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in Anglian Water region.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems
- Design and specify LV assemblies (MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels)
- Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams)
- Specify and select required instrumentation based on the process design
You'll have extensive experience in a project engineering environment and will hold a degree (or similar qualification) in a relevant Engineering discipline. With a strong Electrical Engineering background ideally in the Water sector and a keenness to work in a multi disciplined engineering team to work together to solve complex problems.
