Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a primary school setting? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic individuals to support primary schools across Halifax.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to support learning in Early Years, KS1, or KS2
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential
- Assist children with phonics, numeracy, and literacy activities
- Support pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs
- Help create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment
About You:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for supporting young learners and helping them thrive
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable but not required)
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
