Head of Computer Science
Oxted School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Computer Science to join our team. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic department and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, especially those who are disadvantaged to create a nurturing, student-centered learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership to ensure high-quality teaching and accelerated student progress.
- Lead on curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching practices to support continuous improvement.
- Set and monitor targets for staff and students, ensuring outstanding outcomes.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student achievement.
- Promote collaborative working within the faculty, across departments, and within The Howard Partnership Trust.
The successful candidate should be self-assured, well-organised, and driven, capable of leading our accomplished Computer Science team. They will work closely with their teachers to craft an innovative curriculum and achieve positive outcomes for all students.
