We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the efficiency of their financial operations. You will be directly supporting the Purchase Ledger Supervisor by handling accounts payable and performing reconciliations.Day-to-day of the role:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and support month-end closing processes.
- Provide administrative support to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.
- Maintain precise financial records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
