Field Service Engineer
You will have access to a company van for all customer site visits and full product and service-certified training is offered.
This highly rewarding career opportunity is best suited to a candidate who has 2-5 years of mechanical service engineering experience, and someone who enjoys mobile working and meeting with customers. Many customers are based ‘off grid’ and are located in rural locations including farm estates, stately homes, the MOD and large business premises, therefore the need to have excellent levels of verbal communication is key to the success of this position.
As a Field Service Engineer, we need a qualified and experienced mechanical engineer, someone who has obtained either Degree Level, BTEC Level or having served an apprenticeship. If you have prior knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical control systems this would be highly advantageous.Your key responsibilities will responsibilities include servicing, repairing, and installing pumps, pumping equipment, filtration, treatment, pipework, and associated water/fluid handling equipment, (both clean water and sewage). Diagnosing problems on site and gathering information to ensure accurate prices/quotes is a key requirement and there is a need to attend to emergency callouts on the occasional evenings and weekends, which is paid at overtime rates.
Candidates must have a full clean UK Driving Licence.
