Science Teacher - Middlesbrough

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for Science Teachers based in Hull and the East Riding, starting 2nd September 2025, or ASAP, on an ongoing supply basis. This is a temporary position to cover a variety of different roles - with longer term roles available.Payment for this position would be between £140 and £175 for daily supply bookings (with the higher in the subject specialisms), and paid to scale for longer term positions. This works between £162.63 and £251.75 per day.
This role will involve teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. As we work with colleges we also have a need for teachers with Key Stage 5 specialisms. Any science specialism is required.
With schools in all Geographical Areas of Hull and the East Riding including:
- Hull
- Beverley
- Withernsea
- Driffield
- Pocklington
- Brough
Working as a supply Science teacher can be a great chance to experience different schools, and with MFL being such an in demand subject specialism, the chances of work not being available is very low.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the full CV History
- Legal right to work in the UK
