About Us

Our outreach programme provides a trauma-informed approach to learning for students from diverse and often challenging backgrounds. We deliver flexible, student-centered education in alternative settings, creating a supportive space for both academic progress and emotional resilience.

Our focus is on rebuilding trust, managing anxiety, and fostering confidence to prepare students for brighter futures.

Your Role
  • Teach GCSE-Level English: Deliver engaging and accessible English lessons that strengthen foundational literacy and prepare students to achieve GCSE success.
  • Outreach Teaching: Provide instruction in tailored, quiet environments outside the traditional classroom, offering personalised support for each student’s unique needs.
  • Trauma-Informed Practices: Create a compassionate, safe learning atmosphere that addresses emotional challenges and supports students in overcoming barriers to education.
  • Collaborative Support: Work alongside teaching assistants, mental health professionals, and family support workers to deliver holistic support for each student’s academic and personal growth.
Who We’re Looking For
  • UK-Qualified English Teacher: A QTS-qualified teacher with experience teaching GCSE English and a commitment to innovative, inclusive education.
  • Empathy and Dedication: Passionate about empowering SEMH students to unlock their potential in both academics and personal development.
  • Adaptable and Patient: Skilled at tailoring lessons to individual needs and fostering an encouraging, inclusive environment.
  • Team-Player: A collaborative approach, working with colleagues and families to support student well-being and achievement.
  • No SEMH Experience Necessary: While prior experience with SEMH students is a plus, we provide training and support to ensure your success in this role.
Why Join Us?
  • Meaningful Impact: Work in small groups or one-on-one settings, forming strong connections with students and making a tangible difference in their lives.
  • Professional Growth: Access training in trauma-informed practices and strategies to support SEMH students effectively.
  • Supportive Team: Be part of a dedicated, inclusive group of professionals who value your expertise and dedication.
  • Transform Lives: Help students overcome challenges, achieve their qualifications, and gain confidence for the future.
