Governors wish to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher to be Leader of science. Science is delivered across all three disciplines and A level Science. The science department are in a new multipurpose block or refurbished laboratories as of November 2019.We have recently been inspected and judged as ‘Good’.
We are looking for a teacher with:
- proven leadership and skills in improving outcomes in KS3 or 4 in science.
- a genuine passion for the Sciences.
- proven skills regarding communication with staff, pupils and parents.
- a clear understanding of how to raise standards & secure first-class teaching and progress.
- promoting high achievement and high expectation.

This leadership role is a very exciting opportunity with huge reward where you can make a difference. Raising the attainment and progress in science is an integral part of our whole school improvement. This role is a key area for improvement in our transition from good to great.
