Job Title: Customer Service Consultant (Mortgages)
Location: Edinburgh - EH12
Contract Type: Temporary - 9 months initially then reviewed
Start Date: 10th March 2025
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8am-8pm shift rotation, 1 Saturday every 4 weeks 9am - 4pm with day off during the week in lieu
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour

Office based 5 days per week and WFH option after 6 months

Lloyds Banking Group have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated person to join the Homes Operations Mortgages Service Centre, where you'll play an integral role in successfully enabling the operation to be a high performing team.

The nature of this role to provide an enhanced service to our customers on a range of mortgage products. The core purpose of the role is to support our customer journey of 'Help me own a home' and provide the highest level of service through a breadth of decision-making across multiple brands.

On a day-to-day basis you will: -

  • Support customers by providing a first point of contact for a range of queries on existing mortgages
  • Following processes to provide information and resolution to customers over the phone
  • Ensure that all activities are in line with compliance and security processes
  • Ensure customers are dealt with professionally, refereed to the right person or channel where appropriate and identify and support customers in vulnerable circumstances.
  • Create, organise and maintain files for correspondence and records.
