Client Service Advisor – Sports Insure

Do you have experience handling UK Sports sector insurance risks in addition to experience of commercial insurance ideally from within the SME landscape? Are you adept at building lasting working relationships with clients and insurers alike?

If so, then we'd love to hear from you! This role offers the unique flexibility of being based at any of our Aon offices across the country. Plus, it's a hybrid position, giving you the freedom to work both virtually and from your local Aon office.

What the day will look like:

  • Working independently whilst supporting the team to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to each assigned Client.
  • Identify potential improvements in Client risk & insurance programme and implement recommended changes for Clients if required.
  • Negotiate new business terms, renewal terms, mid term adjustments and cover extensions.
  • Preparation of comprehensive marketing presentations and renewal reports to prepare full cover comparisons as required.
  • Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers and where appropriate, differentiating with the Client; the cover, service and industry knowledge that a specific Insurer could deliver to them,
  • Identify revenue development opportunities on allocated Client accounts, using knowledge of products/services in the wider Aon community, and make appropriate recommendations to Clients.
  • Identify revenue development opportunities in the wider UK Sports sector and help drive and contribute to the client acquisition strategy.

Providing insurance solutions to an array of clients within the sports sector, ranging from UK Sports Clubs, National Governing Bodies and Associations, Professionals, Motorsports and HM Forces.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Commercial or personal lines insurance experience required, ideally gained at a sports insurance broker but this isn’t necessary as training will be provided.
  • Fully conversant with FCA principles, procedures and process
  • Good understanding of insurance covers either in the personal lines or commercial / packages.
  • Organised, with the ability to prioritise work, delivering accurately and on time
  • Embrace change and react positively
  • Must work well in a team and collaborate with others
  • Experience of using the acturis system is beneficial
