Occupational Therapist Band 6 - London

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join one of the prestigious NHS Trusts in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team and make a real difference in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, providing tailored occupational therapy interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized care plans.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective treatment and rehabilitation programs.
• Provide advice on adaptations to the patient's home or workplace to aid recovery and improve quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Support junior staff and assist in their development through supervision and training.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, preferably within the NHS.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
• Experience in providing assessments and interventions for a diverse range of conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to team goals.
