My client is a leading professional services business based in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a compliance and operations manager to join their team in Chesterfield. Working as a member of the operations board you will be responsible for :-Premises management, repairs, and maintenance of both offices ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards safeguarding clients and staff Review of premise leases and liaise with external parties to ensure rates; service charge and rent is understood .
Manage the budget for admin and facilities alongside finance. Lead, manage, motivate, and train where appropriate a team of five across two sites providing coaching and mentoring as necessary. Ensure front of house is covered during office hours promoting professionalism and quality services to both clients and staff .Responsible for maintaining electrical equipment and safety devices Procurement of supplies ensuring the most cost-effective method is adopted. Review and document plans to business continuity Ensure strict adherence to compliance regulations such as data protection, GDPR and highlight any issues or concerns.
Working with COLP, COF and CQS to ensure compliance with governance requirements, Managing risk and ensuring controls are in place to identify issues. Assisting with file audits, practicing certificates, and supporting the SRA audit.
The Person You will ideally have worked in a compliance or operational based role for at least five years and have a proven track record in your career to date. You will ideally have a qualification in business management / administration Project management skills would also be desirable.You will demonstrate you are process driven and excel at meeting deadlines. You will a strong ability to nurture talent and develop individuals. Excellent role that works as part of the Operations Board and really is involved in the scope and direction of the Business.
