Plumbing Assessor (Performance Coach)Location: Berkshire & Surrey (Hybrid/Remote working available)Salary: Up to £42,182 per annum (+ potential hard-to-fill supplement based on qualifications & experience)Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week)About the RoleAs a Plumbing Assessor (Performance Coach), you will deliver high-quality training and assessment to Level 2 & Level 3 Plumbing Apprentices across Berkshire and Surrey.

Working in real-world workplace environments, you’ll ensure apprentices gain the practical skills, knowledge, and industry experience needed to excel in their careers.Key responsibilities will include:Delivering engaging training and assessment to apprentices across Level 2 & 3 Plumbing Apprenticeships.Monitoring learner progress, developing and ensuring the Plumbing Apprentices meet apprenticeship standards.Assess practical plumbing skills and theoretical knowledge in line with professional benchmarks.Support apprenticeship recruitment, retention, and achievement targets.Administer assessments and contribute to internal verification to maintain quality assuranceBuild strong industry relationships, enhancing employment opportunities for learners.What do you need to be a Plumbing Assessor at Activate Learning?To be successful in this role, you should have:NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).Proven experience delivering Level 2 & 3 Plumbing Apprenticeships.Assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards oneCurrent ACS Gas qualification.Strong mentoring and communication skills, with a passion for training and developing learners.Who we areActivate Learning is a pioneering education group with a global reach, committed to transforming lives through our approach to learning.We see our employees as individuals, empowering them to make the right choices for their ambitions and careers.
