The comprehensive extension to funding endorsed the contribution of this Intermediate Care Pharmacy team. The new funding not only allowed a roll out of the service to all boroughs within the Gwent Region, it also led to integration and redesign of the Pharmacy service provided to the Community hospital rehabilitation wards of South Monmouthshire and Torfaen.
This new Pharmacy Technician post has been created to further support development of a Pharmacy Technician led pharmacy service to our virtual wards and rehabilitation wards. The successful applicant will be required to work across the 5 boroughs to support the Pharmacy service to the CRTs and help develop the new Pharmacy service to the Rehabilitation wards, working closely with the Lead Pharmacist and the current band 6 Pharmacy Technicians, increasing resilience within this developing service.
