We’re hiring for a Support Worker in Plymouth

You will support a young man with autism to live a full life, develop daily living skills, maintain and build relationships, whilst getting out and about to do the things he enjoys. You will be confident, resilient, and calm in your approach.

Your support will be centred around his values, preferences and needs.

Full, UK manual driving licence required.

Working in our friendly teams you’ll be supported in your role from day one. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support. Visit our website for more information.

Your responsibilities:

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • To develop daily living skills.
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
