• Maintain financial records by analysing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and conduct bank-related tasks.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with the relevant financial regulations.
• Support the audit process by providing necessary information and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
• Work closely with the team to meet accounting objectives and deadlines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present financial data.
