Polytec are looking for a Facilities Engineer for our client based in Ely. You will be required to attend site for emergency out of ours call outs for this role.
Responsibilities:- Building maintenance and repairs including preventative maintenance and routine servicing
- Maintain plant in serviceable order ensuring plant faults and defects are rectified quickly
- Lead preparation and installation of potential installation projects
- Assist in the design, development and modification of new and current site equipment
- Statutory compliance of required regulations ensuring all records are accurate
- At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance / Facilities Engineer
- Experience working in a manufacturing building environment
- Good working knowledge of building maintenance statutory compliance regulations
- Electrician Level 3 City and Guilds, 18th Edition IET
- Proven experience in Electrical and Mechanical Building infrastructure
- PAT Certificate
- Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems, plant and components and building services electrical and mechanical systems, CCTV, fire alarms and security systems (Access Controls)
- Air Handling Units, Compressed Air and Water System
- IPAF Cherry Picker Licence, FLT Licence
- Experience in contractor management including PTW and reviewing risk assessments
