Warehouse Operatives
Are you a Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Administrator that enjoys investigating? Do you have some experience of Stock control and looking for a new challenge?
Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Stock Operative to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet.
This is full-time, permanent position, you will be working an average of 40.15 hours on a 4 on, 4 off shift patterns, covering the following hours:-
Days Shift 07:00 - 19:00 or Night Shift 19:00 - 07:00

As a Stock Operative you will receive- Days - £11.95 per Hour - Nights £11.95 plus £2.36 unsocial hours uplift between 22:00 and 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Investigating any stock discrepancies and maintaining accurate stock for management system
- Liaising extensively with other departments and functions as instructed by Stock Manager, and Team Leaders
- Carry out stock counts, quality checks of products and checking product codes
- Inputting data into spread sheets for report writing
- Ensure all stock is labelled and stored correctly
- Highlighting stock issues to management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and VMS
- Adhere to all GXO Health and Safety Policy
