JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons, monitoring progress, and adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of each student.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification and experience working with students with SEN. Knowledge of SEN strategies and a commitment to inclusive education practises are essential.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching students with SEN.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated understanding of various learning styles and SEN support techniques. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs or relevant field.
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The SEN Tutor will primarily work in an educational setting, collaborating with other professionals to support students with SEN.
