Job Description- Process and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Allocate incoming payments to the correct accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date sales ledger records for audit purposes.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments or queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks within the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger focus) should have:
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in sales ledger software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues.
- Immediate availability or available on short notice.
- Immediate start.
