The successful candidate must have experience of patients with a variety of long-term health conditions, be comfortable with change, able to work autonomously and keen to work in non-traditional care systems. A willingness to learn and develop their skills and undertake training relevant to their role is also essential, with an openness to support the wider nursing team.
Practice Nurse Core Responsibilities will involve: Venepuncture Blood pressure ECG Height/Weight/BMI Health Promotion Childhood and Adult Immunisations Wound Care Contraception Cervical Screening Spirometry Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential.
