What you'll do

You’ll be joining us in Core Trading Solutions, where our teams in India are driving the post trade digital transformation journey for NatWest Markets and front to back digital journey for Treasury Markets.

In your new role, you’ll be managing the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan group requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles.

In the course of your work, we’ll also look to you to build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.

You’ll also:

  • Work with the front office business across the STM, LPIM, xVA, DerivX, and DCM desks to deliver the regulatory and strategic needs of the bank
  • Identify and support cut-over and implementation tasks
  • Trace and link business requirements to future state design
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. You’ll have an analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work. Additionally, you’ll have considerable experience with Murex platform modules, covering the front office set up and configuration using eTradepad and Simulation Screens.

You’ll also have hands on experience creating instrument generators, curves, market data, market convention, pre-trade rules and CSA discounting.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
  • A background of delivering business analysis in a technology or IT function
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of the following asset classes; money markets, bonds, repos, FX and derivatives
  • Experience in driving detailed analysis and design of functional flows along with high level business and technical architecture
