The friendly Switchboard team in Bristol are currently looking to recruit a part time Switchboard Operator on a permanent contract. Weekends working alternate early and late shifts
The successful candidates will join the front line team operating a busy acute hospital switchboard. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be calm in emergency situations.
Shifts will be 06:30 am - 14:30 pm and 14:00pm to 22:00 pm alternating between the two weekends only.- As the first point of contact for the telecommunication service of the UHBW Trust, operators are responsible for providing an efficient switchboard/information service 24/7 to all staff and customers of the Trust.
- Carry out all aspects of the responsibilities of an operator in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Operators will be required to use their own initiative efficiently and accurately when dealing with Emergency/Life and Death procedures and situations outside the parameters of these procedures.
