Warehouse Operative/Drivers Mate

The Best Connection are proudly recruiting for Driver's Mates/ Warehouse Operatives for our well established client in Crawley.

Hours: 7am start

The role: You'll be working alongside our drivers to ensure deliveries are made safely, on time, and with excellent customer service as a driver's mate. In the warehouse you will be helping load and unload deliveries. This role will include heavy lifting, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual handling and enjoy working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Driver's mate/ Warehouse Operative:

• Assisting the driver with loading and unloading goods
• Supporting with navigation and route planning when needed
• Delivering items to customers in a safe and professional manner
• Providing great customer service on every delivery
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements of the Driver's mate/ Warehouse Operative:

• A team player with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Be comfortable with heavy lifting
• Punctual and reliable
• Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential
