A leading organisation based in North Yorkshire are seeking an experienced HR Advisor (ER Specialist) to champion the employee experience journey across 13 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire. This role is pivotal in advising on a diverse range of employee relations cases and supporting line managers to foster a culture of openness, trust, and mutual respect.

  • Work closely with the Group HR Manager to develop and implement the Employee Experience and People strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers across the organisation, helping them to navigate complex ER cases effectively.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Group HR Manager to enhance the Employee Experience and align People strategies with business objectives.
  • Coach line managers on improving capabilities through performance and talent systems, and other ER aspects.
  • Provide end-to-end case management for ER issues, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Employee Relations or as a Human Resources Advisor, preferably in medium to large-sized organisations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law, HR policies, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage ER cases with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm and composed approach to challenges.
