The successful applicant will work alongside our developers and business stakeholders to deliver high quality, secure and scalable solutions to the business.
The main responsibilities of Senior Hardware Engineer include
Designing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, high speed network interfaces and RF signal filtering:Simulating and implementing signal and image processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAs:
Performing schematic capture using OrCAD:
Managing PCB layout, fabrication and assembly subcontractors:
Setting to work PCBs including writing test firmware and software:
Developing Linux device drivers for hardware: Mentoring and leading others.
For you to be the Ideal Senior Hardware Engineer, you will
Have a good first degree or a PhD in a numerate discipline:Have 5 years or more experience of complex PCB design:
Have experience of FPGA development in VHDL: Have software development experience in embedded C++
Candidates will be put forward for Security Clearance SC once the job has been accepted.
