Title: Registered Manager (Children)
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: £55,000 per annum

Hours: Full time, permanent – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of care, including regular audits and reviews.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently.
  • Handle safeguarding issues, complaints, and incidents, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a care setting.
  • A relevant qualification in health and social care (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the care sector.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
