Sales Team Member

Pertemps are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client’s internal sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about engineering and customer service to grow within a stable and supportive company.

Key Responsibilities of this Sales Team Member:

  • Handle incoming enquiries via telephone and email
  • Prepare quotations to meet customer specifications
  • Ensure correct product selection in line with customer needs
  • Liaise with customers, area sales managers, and the management team
  • Maintain close client relationships to build rapport and encourage loyalty
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer information
  • Use CRM, accounting, and sizing software
  • Identify training needs to support career progression
  • Undertake any additional duties necessary to meet business requirements
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong prioritisation and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage your own workload effectively
  • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Proactive in seeking and developing new profitable opportunities
  • Self-motivated and confident in dealing with a variety of customer enquiries
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good standard of English and Maths
  • Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Strong personal skills and customer-facing experience

What this Sales Team Member role offers:

  • 30 days holiday (including statutory), rising to 33 days after one year of service and at the start of the next calendar year
  • Annual business performance bonus (non-contractual)

Details of this Sales Team Member role:

  • Office hours between 08:00 and 18:00
  • Flexibility to work contracted hours over 4 days, subject to workload and management discretion
  • Salary: from £23,350.00 to £25,793.00 depending on experience.
