Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, community-focused school in Old Trafford.
This fulfilling role will involve providing tailored 1:1 support for children with Autism, both within and outside the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the Autism spectrum, be confident in managing challenging behaviours, and demonstrate resilience and patience in a dynamic school environment.
A Teaching Assistant qualification and prior experience in a similar role are essential.

- Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies that support the child's academic and social development.
- Create a positive, calm, and structured environment to help students with Autism feel safe and supported.
- Engage with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support and care for the students.
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Provide two professional references related to childcare.
- Hold up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable but not essential, as some training can be provided).
