Job Description:We are seeking a meticulous and organised Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team in a well-known Belfast Estate Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on purchase ledger activities and will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile a high volume of purchase invoices.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payment runs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier accounts.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger/ finance role.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
